Khartoum, Sudan, 22 -25 March 2004
 The workshop was organized by the NBCBN-RE Secretariat in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair in Water Resources (the Hosting Institution of the research cluster) in Sudan , March 2004, is under the title of "Second Regional Workshop on River Morphology ", applications in River Engineering during the period from 22 to 25 March 2004 . The workshop was convened at the Meridian Hotel, Sudan.
he countries participated in this cluster are Burundi , Ethiopia , Egypt and Sudan (host country). The Country Coordinator of the hosting country is Prof.Dr.Abdalla Abdel Salam, UNESCO Chair in Water Resources, Khartoum and the Scientific Advisor Prof. Gerrit Kalassen, UNESCO-IHE.
