 The workshop was organized by the NBCBN-RE Secretariat in collaboration with university of Makerere (the Hosting Institution of the Research Cluster) in Uganda, April 2004, is under the title of "Second Regional Workshop on Environmental Aspects "; Applications in River Engineering during the period from 19 to 21 April 2004. The workshop was convened at the Africana Hotel, Uganda.
he countries participated in this cluster are Kenya , Eritrea , Egypt , Rwanda , Sudan and Uganda (Host country). The country coordinator of the hosting country is Prof. Ngirane Katashaya Makerere University, Kampala and the scientific advisors Dr. Joop De Schutter, UNESCO-IHE
