The workshop is organized
by the NBCBN-RE Secretariat in collaboration
with Hydraulics Research Institute
(the Hosting Institution of the Research
Cluster) in Egypt during the period
from 16 to 18 September 2006 under
the title of " GIS and Modeling Research
Cluster The second phase of the
Joint Cluster Research Activities & Initiation
of local Action . The workshop
is convened at the Flamenco Hotel .
The countries participated
in this workshop are the members in
the GIS and Modelling Research Cluster;
Rwanda , Uganda , Tanzania , Ethiopia,
D.R.Congo,Sudan and Egypt (Host country).
The country coordinator of the hosting
country is Eng .Ibrahim El-desouki,
Hydraulics Research Institute and the
scientific advisors Dr. Zoltan Vekerdy,ITC
and Prof.Dr.Roland Price, UNESCO-IHE
