Dr. Kimaro was born in 6/12/1966, He finished his undergraduate study in 1995 at the University of Dar es Salam, Tanzania. In 1997 he was awarded the master degree of engineering from University of Dar es Salam. He had the doctorate degree in 2003 from Kyoto University, Japan.  Dr. Kimaro joined NBCBN from the early start at 2002. He joined flood and Drought Forecasting research group under Flood management research cluster, he also worked under Tanzania LOCAL Action research group. Also Dr. Kimaor joined the friend Nile program under Flood Frequency Analysis Research.  His main area of expertise was Hydrologic Modeling and Integrated Water Resources management and planning. Dr. kimaro was one of NBCBN active researchers who contributed to different research activities.
