Dr. Ndomba joined NBCBN since the launch of the GIS and Modelling research Cluster in 2003. He is one of the most active members in NBCBN. Since the second phase of the network that started in 2006, he joined different research groups .He is the group coordinator of two research groups: “Sediment Yield Modelling using SWAT Model in Tropical Regions research under GIS AND Modelling research cluster & “Development of Regional Guidelines for Mini-Hydro Plants” under Hydropower Research Cluster
He is has the main coordinator of local action research group working on “Development of Micro Hydropower Plant in Tanzania” . Dr. Ndomba has a wide experience in several fields such as : Water resources engineering ,Mathematical modelling and Hydropower fields.
For his active participation and experience he was selected as a key person and main facilitator in the area of “ Floods, Sedimentation and Erosion “in NBCBN Joint workshop (Rwanda , Burundi and D.r.congo) which was held in Kigali, December,2009
