Dr. Richard joined NBCBN since the launch of the Hydropower research Cluster in Tanzania, November, 2002. He is one of the most active members in NBCBN .Since the second phase of the network that started in 2006, he joined different research groups .He  is a research member of two research groups: “Environmental Impact Assessment Tools and DSS” under Environmental Aspects research cluster & “Development of Regional Guidelines for Mini-Hydro Plants” under Hydropower Research Cluster.

He is the research coordinator of Uganda Integrated research group working on “Future Hydropower Scenarios Under the Influence of Climate Change for the Riparian Countries of Lake Victoria Basin” .

Dr. Richard has a wide experience in several fields such as : Water Quality Management and Hydropower developments..
