Based on the recommendations of the last Steering committee meeting in October 2008, NBCBN-SEC organized the third NBCBN Steering Committee Meeting on 1-2 February 2010, Fairmont hotel, Cairo, Egypt

The main objective of NBCBN steering committee meetings is to take responsibility for the issues associated with the NBCBN network development process and the different supporting projects. The main role of the steering committee is giving advice and providing overall programmatic and strategic guidance to the Network Management and Project Management Team in relation to the respective network and project objectives.

The last held meeting 1-2 February, 2010 focused on discussing the network achievements, progress for 2009 and the strategic planning for NBCBN future phase.
